I'm Jackie and this is Mia and Koda, my inspirations for Furiends Designs.  

I have always loved creating, it's my way of showing love to those who surround me, including my fur family and friends.

When my partner and I adopted Koda, on the day before his 4th birthday, he was unsure of the world, we didn't know his history but when we looked into his eyes, we knew that we would have the patience and love, that he would need to lead the best life, a dog could. We slowly chose social outings with him so we could help him integrate into our world and that meant going to markets, where we discovered dog accessories such as bows and bandanas. We couldn't resist and soon he had enough accessories to be a supaw model.

Two years later Ms. Mia entered our lives. She was sassy and sweet and stole our hearts. Of course, she needed her own pawdrobe, as she was born to be a Frenchie fashionista.

Fast forward to 2021 when I started creating Ms. Mia outfits for Boujee Day on instagram and then made my first business tie for Koda and Furiends Designs was born. 

​

I love the idea of dogs wearing one-of-kind accessories that have been created from upcycled and locally source materials so we can reduce the impact on the environment and I am also able to support other small Australian businesses.
